Suzunone Magic Academy is a prestigious educational and research establishment where magic meets science. Kido Yukimura is a student in the Academy's engineering division. He cannot use magic, and his unorthodox engineering approach has landed him in Suzunone Trial, a special training camp where the worst seven students from the academy are chosen every year.
