Missing Parts is a detective game that drives the story through logical deductions and natural plot developments. Unlike games where you figure out the culprit by debating over all the evidence available, your job is to talk to people, gather evidence, and remember not only what people say but pay attention to small things that you are expected to remember.

The story follows Magami Kyosuke, a new private detective in Narumi Detective Agency, whose parents are dead since he was still a child and is now raised by his grandfather. He joins the agency to help Narumi Kyoka, the acting director of the agency, in finding her missing father, Narumi Seiji, a former criminal that became a famous detective, as well as find the answers behind an old pendant belonging to his late parents.
Kyosuke also works part-time for Tsukishima Narumi, a mysterious sexy woman who is the owner of an antique shop "Secundum".
